The Birmingham post is reporting that an early copy of The Chronicles of Narnia will be for sale at an arts and antiques fair this week... and is expected to sell for at least £10,000 (that's $17,650 US). Whereas an early edition of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit actually has a slightly different series of events, the text in this early edition is--as far as I know--exactly the same.

A rare first edition collection of CS Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia is expected to fetch £10,000 when it goes up for sale at a major art and antiques fair at the National Exhibition Centre later this week.

The red leather-bound set of books is one of the star attractions at the third National Fine Art & Antiques Fair, which runs from tomorrow until Sunday.
